Moms and Daughters

Andy and I (with the rest of the fam) took a trip to Cincinatti for spring break, and we were able to take a day trip down to Louisville to see Kimmy and her new baby! It was so wonderful seeing Kimmy again and getting to meet cute little Kira! We went to lunch at The Olive Garden (we hadn't been there in ages) and afterward went to her apartment where the boys watched a movie while the adults visited. Kimmy gave Sara her own "pretty"... a little smucker's lip gloss that, to this day, she MUST be allowed to wear all the time. If you notice, she has it in her hand in this picture and all over her lips- thus the nice little pout she has going on! I love you Kimmy! It was so fun seeing you as a mom!

I am alive...barely

Okay, so I have not been the greatest friend lately, but my life has hit the fan, and I am crazy busy with finals for me and for my students. I have just stayed up to finish my 50 page paper for one class, and am going to buckle down tomorrow to write a twenty page report tomorrow. My life is a bust. I cannot wait till this semester is over!!!!! But until then I am out of commission.

Has anyone heard from Katy? I think she fell of the face of the earth!

Crap I'm 30!

Well, today's my birthday. I cant believe I'm 30...but before you make any wisecracks remember you are all right behind me. It seems like yesterday we were planning our next ditch from school, who was driving to the church dance, or what we were going to do Friday night . That was 12+ years ago and now we are all coming up on our 30s. Where did the time go? 30 sounds old. We defiantly ain't kids anymore. I hope to see some of you tomorrow night at the big b-day bash. For those of you that can't be there I'll miss ya.

The picture is of my current assignment. I'm assigned to the S.C.O.R.E. team (street crimes operational reduction effort.) I walk around shady areas of Vegas dressed like an injured bum, carrying beer and cigarettes, with $40.00 hanging out of my shirt pocket trying to get robbed. I've been robbed over 40 times now. This assignment should be done around April 5th then I'll go back to narcotics (I can't wait.) I'm burned out with the robbery thing, but boy do I have some funny stories.

Okay everyone, why is this blog so neglected? Katy, we haven't heard from you in a million years, what is going on? Tell me how the Christmas party went, the one you all got to go to while I stayed behind and cried myself to sleep? Okay, exaggeration, but still...how did it go? And has anyone seen/heard from Heather Roundy Walker?

Our Little Lady

Here's our little girl, Kira Olivia Courtright. She was born on January 4, 2008 at 3:08 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. and measured 19 inches. She is such a great baby. It was been so fun becoming a mom. Thought I would be the first

I thought I would be the first to write on our friend blog for the year. Trying to keep this blog going. I wanted to tell Kimmy and Mike. Congrats on their beautiful little girl, Kira. She looks so much like Mike.
Also I came across Bobby Milk's blog. Funny when we got together over Christmas we were wondering whatever happened to him. He is so big and I could barely recognize that it was him. I think the site was www.gotmilks.blogspot.com . Just thought it was funny. I am looking forward to getting together again for Jeremy's birthday. Katy you better be planning that.
